It's been a long while between soundchecks, but we are absolutely thrilled to announce that live music is returning to Waywards with BEST SERVED LOUD - a 5 show event series in partnership with local legends & great mates Young Henrys.

 

Over 5 weeks we'll be putting on 5 shows in an intimate, seated setting with two sessions for each show. On the bill are some of NSW's favourite acts, with a multi-genre line up that's sure to appeal to any and all music lovers. Check out this incredible line up:

 

The Dead Love, ILUKA, Charlie Collins, CITIZEN KAY, Totally Unicorn, Eat Your Heart Out, Salarymen, Ruben Neeson, Ms Thandi, & Good Pash.

 

Kicking off on Friday 23rd October and running every Friday til 20th November, each show will have two sessions: one at 6:30pm & 9:30pm. Tickets are all $10, and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Support Act. Tickets can be purchased 3 weeks prior to each show, and are to be bought in groups of 4.

 

The first instalment of Best Served Loud with The Dead Love & Eat Your Heart Out sold out in under 5 hours! Tickets are very hot property so you better be quick!

ILUKA w/ Salarymen

ILUKA will be bringing her hypnotic indie pop sounds to Waywards, known for her thrilling intimate performances and pop-edge songs. Supporting on the night will be Sydney duo Salarymen, who will bring along their own brand of indie pop.

Tamworth gem Charlie Collins headlines the third instalment of Best Served Loud, playing tracks from her debut and 2019 nominated Best Country Album, Snowpine. Supported by emerging indie-folk star & local legend Ruben Neeson.

Having shared the stage with some of the best including Ice Cube, Public Enemy and Earl Sweatshirt, CITIZEN KAY is set to attract an energetic crowd in the intimate seated setting - with support from R&B powerhouse Ms Thandi.

TOTALLY UNICORN w/ Good Pash

Closing the series on the final Friday will be the local punk outfit Totally Unicorn, who have made a name for themselves with their uncompromising live shows and fierce sound. Joining on the night will be local indie punk band Good Pash.

BEST SERVED LOUD is a COVID-Safe event series. All audience members will be required to sanitise & check-in upon entry to Waywards. Audience seating is 1.5m apart, and all seats & tables will be wiped down & sanitised between show sessions/sittings. Drinks can only be ordered through me&u table service, no need to head to the bar! All tables will have their own ME&U beacon where guests can scan a QR code to view the drinks menu, order & pay as drinks are brought to them.
