Do you have parking?

There is timed street parking within walking distance of the venue. Please allow additional time in peak periods as finding a park can sometimes be tricky.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, there is lift access to all levels and a disabled bathroom. Support animals are always welcome.
 

Are you kid friendly?

Absolutely, kids are welcome in the Public Bar and Garden Bar until 10pm as long as they are accompanied by an adult at all times.

What days are you closed?

We are closed Christmas Day.

 

Do I need to make a booking or can I just walk in?

We take a mix of both bookings and reservations. We take a certain amount of bookings for each time frame and also leave some of the venue available for people to be able to walk in.

Is there a long line to wait to get in over the weekend?

We take a mix of both bookings and walk-ins. We take a certain amount of bookings for each time frame and also leave some of the venue available for people to be able to walk in. Depending on the time you wish to arrive, there may be a wait. The team will do their best to accommodate everyone. Please practise social distancing while in the line.

Do I need to eat or can I just drink?

We take both dining bookings and drinks bookings. You don’t need to have a meal if you are booking.

How do I get to you by public transport?

It's so easy! The Newtown train station is right next door and there are several bus options on Kings Street.  It is also an easy walk down King Street from Broadway and Sydney Park direction. 

Can I bring my pet?

We love dogs! Dogs are welcome in the Garden Bar till 10pm. Support animals are always welcome.

Can I bring a cake?

You are welcome to bring celebratory cakes. We can provide disposable plates, napkins and forks if you can advise us you are bringing one beforehand.

Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is casual.

Can we book for a large group?

Yes, we can accommodate bookings of large groups. For bookings up to 20 guests, click the BOOK NOW button. For larger bookings, head to our Contact Us page.

Can we get up and walk around - do we have to be sat down the whole time?

The latest round of government restrictions easing means that we can now allow standing in pubs. To assist with effective social distancing, please remain with your groups where possible. 

I received a $25 Birthday Voucher! How do I redeem it?

To redeem your birthday voucher, simply show it to a member of staff at the bar when making a purchase! The voucher can only be used on transactions of food and beverage with a value of $25 or higher. The voucher cannot be redeemed in bottle shops or used to purchase cigarettes. The voucher is valid for the duration of the month it is issued.
