We are situated above The Bank, a very convenient location and a stone's throw from Newtown station. Waywards brings live music to Newtown every Friday and Saturday night. We are proud to be the home of a live music institution and support up-and-coming artists, local icons and historical favourites to perform and support each other and the Australian music community.

New events are added every week. Check out everything we have coming up below and sort yourself some tickets.

Select Music and Live Nation present LILBUBBLEGUM

Fresh off the back of back-to-back records with the likes of Yung Gravy and Rico Nasty, his experimental PROTAGONIST EP, and a collab with Aussie’s own Club Angel, lilbubblegum returns to Australia for his first ever headline tour. As a pioneer of the Aesthetic Rap movement, fans might recognise lilbubblegum from his hits such as ‘af1’ or more recently from his energetic support on the Baby Gravy (Yung Gravy x bbno$) tour of Australia, but this spring, lilbubblegum promises to deliver a memorable performance that will solidify him as one of the best to ever do it in the South Pacific.

Featuring support from LEE.

JK-47 'Regrowth' Tour

Join me on the long-awaited, Regrowth Tour!

We’ll dive into my entire catalog—playing songs from “Made for This” “Revision for Regrowth, and some fresh tracks from my latest EP, “A Road Less Travelled”.

This tour is gonna be something special! This music is so powerful and bigger than any one of us.  This art led me to embrace a ‘road less traveled’ and seek growth in my life, and I thank each and every one of you who listed, heard and took that journey with me.

I can’t wait to connect and celebrate with you all, in the flesh once again! – JK47
